Candidates

Rick Davis

for District Attorney

Robert Jackson, a great Justice of the United States Supreme Court once said, “The prosecutor has more control over life, liberty, and reputation than any other person in America.” I pledge with all my heart to the citizens of Brazos County that I will temper justice with mercy, that I will administer the law with fairness, that I will seek the truth, and that I will be worthy of the trust that you give me. I will ensure the safety of the people and will protect their homes and property. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am going to take politics out of that office once and for all. With your trust and God’s help, we shall win.

Rex Davis

for Justice, 10th Court of Appeals

I am challenged by this opportunity to run for Justice, 10th Court of Appeals. This is the seat currently held by Justice Bill Vance who is retiring. I am now asking the people of the District to return me to this Court. I have over seven years experience as a 10th Court Justice and I believe that translates into experience and knowledge that will benefit the people I will serve.

I am familiar with the workings of this court, having served as Chief Justice of the 10th Court and worked on approximately 2,500 cases from 1996-2003. I resigned during my second term due to family obligations and I am presently an attorney with Sheehy, Lovelace, & Mayfield. After Justice Vance's retirement, I will be able to step in and start handling cases immediately.

Rob Curnock

for Congress, CD17

Rob is working to advance consistent conservative values that we live by in Central Texas. Rob's not interested in going to Congress to get along with liberal Democrats...he'll go to Washington to work with those who want to stand up for freedom and traditional American values...and against the Nancy Pelosi-San Francisco-style socialism.

Welcome to the home district of President George W. Bush and Crawford. This is a key battleground in the Republican drive to reclaim the US House of Representatives. This is a seat that Republicans can and should win. This is a race that the Democrats do not want to lose... but have had no business winning. Republican voting strength in this District is well over 64%! But the Democrat incumbent has been able to take advantage of some unique circumstances to stay in office. Up until now. A victory here for conservative Republicans will mean a net gain of two, in the drive to reclaim the House from liberal Democrats.

I look forward to serving you as your SREC Committeewoman.
I appreciate your support and your vote in our SD Caucus.
